DOĞUŞ CHILDREN’S SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra was established within the body of Doğuş Group in 2006 as Türkiye first national, permanent children’s symphony orchestra.

The Orchestra is comprised of conservatory students between 11 and 18 years of age, from different regions of Türkiye, and aims to promote the universal art of polyphonic music by introducing symphonic music to children as performed by their peers.

Since foundation, Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra has collaborated with many famous musicians. Also The Presidential Sypmhony Orchestra was accompanied on stage by the Orchestra at several events. Performing at many platforms in Türkiye, the Orchestra started to represent Türkiye at the international platforms since 2008.

In 2013, The Doğuş Children’s Symphony Orchestra was awarded in the category of “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Project” at the Ace Of M.I.C.E. (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Awards. Orchestra also received the "Best Social Responsibility Project in Culture and Arts" Award at the ICSR (International Corporate Social Responsibility) Awards given by JCI (Junior Chamber International) in 2015. In 2017, DCSO has won the Best Business Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility and the Corporate Social Responsibility “Platinum Award” at MarCom Awards.

In addition, in 2022, DCSO has won the Best Arts and Culture Award under the Corporate Social Responsability Category at the Turkish Public Relations Associations ‘Altın Pusula’ Awards.

To date, DCSO has gathered over 800 young artists and performed 72 concerts, in Turkey and elsewhere, for an audience of close to 94,000 people.

The Orchestra will continue to make the modern voice of Turkish children be heard in international platforms.
