PARA DURUMU FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM

Para Durumu was founded and is spearheaded by Özlem Denizmen, who is the Head of Social Projects at Doğuş Holding. As a result of this initiative, Mrs. Denizmen was honored by the White House Entrepreneurship Summit and Global Clinton Initiative as Young Global Leader of 2011 at the World Economic Forum. We empower and encourage Mrs. Denizmen in her capacity as ‘Social Entrepreneur’ in this important effort for promoting sustainable change in Turkish society.

Para Durumu was recognized as the Financial Literacy initiative of Türkiye by OECD. The initiative reaches out to youth (university students) through physical seminars as well. These special programs were presented as a model for financial education to the Ministry of National Education of the Turkish Republic.

The Financial Literacy Association of Türkiye(FODER), the first non-governmental organization in this area, was founded in November, 2012. Doğuş Holding is the first corporate member of FODER.
