DARÜŞŞAFAKA DOĞUŞ BASKETBAL TEAM

Darüşşafaka Sports Club, established in 1941, was active in football and volleybal in its first years and achieved many successes.

In September 2013, Doğuş Holding A.Ş., Darüşşafaka Association and Darüşşafaka Sports Club signed a long-term partnership protocol. This protocol aimed to promote Darüşşafaka Basketball Teams under the name of ‘Darüşşafaka Doğuş Basketball’, managed by Darüşşafaka Doğuş Sportif Yatırımlar ve Ticaret A.Ş., to achieve considerable success in the future, and ensure contributions to Darüşşafaka students from Doğuş Group within the scope of a social responsibility project.

This venture targets creating success stories in the Turkish and European Basketball Leagues, focusing on the development of Turkish basketball within the scope of fair play. Within the scope of its mission to provide equal opportunities in sports, it also aims to raise professional athletes, who are lifelong learners, modern, have self confidence and are aware of their responsibilities towards the society, by providing development opportunities to amateur athletes from early ages across the country.

To achieve these targets and new national and international successes in basketball, Doğuş Group is in partnership with Darüşşafaka Association and Darüşşafaka Sports Club. Doğuş Group supports the mission of Darüşşafaka Association by allocating funds.
