12 GIANT MEN

The story of 12 Giant Men (12 Dev Adam) started with the Basketball Nation Team sponsorship of Garanti Bank, which was before the 32nd European Basketball Championship, organized in Türkiye in 2001.

Garanti has always had a special interest in basketball, which encapsulates features such as team work, belief, trust and discipline that build up its own corporate culture. Through the official sponsorship, Garanti aimed the society to provide more support to basketball, be more aware of the European Basketball Championship and give the support to the National Basketball team it deserves.

In this respect, the 12 Giant Men brand was created and was given as a gift to Turkish basketball. The song of 12 Giant Man became very popular, everybody has heard of it. 12 Giant Men enhanced basketball, and basketball enhanced the 12 Giant Men back, at colossal scales. The name became so popular that the National Team is called 12 Giant Men everywhere.

In 2010, our National Team took the 2nd place in the World Championships organized in Türkiye.
