In addition to the direct contribution it provides for the economy, Doğuş Group also provides significant contribution to employment. The Group has created more than 29,000 jobs as of the end of 2010 with its 124 companies operating in 7 industrial sectors. Doğuş Group aims to provide 2000 more new jobs in 2011.
In all sectors it operates in, Doğuş Group takes into consideration its stakeholders' expectations and strives to meet those expectations at the highest level through mutual dialogue and feedback mechanisms. The priority group among these stakeholders are the Group employees, as Doğuş Group believes its real asset is human capital. Doğuş Group has adopted the principle of shaping its activities based on feedback from its employees. With this philosophy, the Group strives to enable the standard of its employees to be at the highest level and to create a happy working environment for all its employees. Employee development is supported by tailor made training and periodic performance evaluation. Satisfaction level of employees is regularly measured and appropriate improvements are made. All necessary precautions are taken in professional health and safety to enable employees to work in a safe environment.
Within the framework of the importance placed on human rights, all employees are given equal opportunities. The 54/46 male female ratio among employees is the best testimony to the principle of equality that is in place. Discrimination and practices in violation of human rights are never tolerated in the Group and the same approach is expected from the Group's business partners and third parties.
