Production
Doğuş Otomotiv is the only company in the world that brings every Volkswagen Group brands together under a single roof. Apart from its import and distributorship activities, the company enlarges its portfolio of services in line with its philosophy of having a productive and profitable presence in every stage of the automotive value chain. Aside from its activities in automotive financing, spare parts and accessories, logistics and customer services, used car dealership, fleet management and leasing, vehicle inspection and insurance, Doğuş Otomotiv has largely invested in production as well.
In addition to the "Meiller Doğuş Damper" factory established with an investment amount of 10.000.000 Euro, has been the "first" production center of Doğuş Otomotiv in Sakarya with the partnership of leading damper producer Meiller in 2008.
In addition a trailer factory was built in Tire in partnership with Krone. The work on the factory has been completed and was ready for operation in 2009. Krone Doğuş Trailer Factory, which has been planned as second manufacturing plant for Doğuş Otomotiv, was laid on 17 June 2008 in Tire/İzmir. Krone Doğuş Trailer Factory, has been established with an investment of 35.000.000 Euro as a result of partnership between Europe's second leading trailer manufacturer Krone and Doğuş Otomotiv, distributor of Krone since 2003. Krone Doğuş Trailer Factory, which will be the "first" trailer manufacturing centre incorporating foreign partner in Turkey, shall also be the one and only centre in Europe, which can manufacture trailers in any colour to be ordered by customer.
