Garanti Pension has 684 employees, 419 of whom are employed in regional offices.

In 2010, Garanti Pension acquired the largest market share with 0.7 percentage points in terms of funds size and 1 percentage point in terms of contributions. Growing faster than the sector average, the Company reached to TL 1.8 billion in fund size with a 37.3% year-on-year growth and raised its market share to 15.3%.

Garanti Pension grew its direct premium production by 29.3%, and gained 8.3 percentage points in market share, reaching a total of TL 234 million. The Company generated TL 97.2 million from involuntary unemployment products, with a 34.2% year-on-year growth and raised its number of policies to 911 thousand. The Company also acquired the first place in the sector with respect to the premium production generated from the alternative distribution channels, with a 73.5% share.

Garanti Pension attained a year-on-year increase of 33% in its after-tax net profit, bringing the figure to TL 100 million in 2010.

The Company aims to improve its operational success and high profitability rates in 2011 and thus, continue to increase its market share in both sectors and maintain its sustainable growth.
