Artun Ertem, Manager of D-Marin Mandalina Marina, Is The First Turk Recognized As A "Certified Marina Manager"

D-Marin Mandalina Marina, operating in Croatia under the roof of D-Marin Marinas Group with the partnership of Doğuş Holding and Croatian NCP (Nautical Center Prgin) company for the last three years,continues to blaze trails. Artun Ertem, Manager of D-Marin Mandalina Marina, has been deemed worthy of "Certified Marina Manager" by Global Marina Institute. Ertem is the first Turkish marina manager ever achieved to be recognized with this certificate. The Global Marina Instituteis formed to maintain and increase standards in marinas across the world.
More success stories are to be written at Croatia where Doğuş Group has transferred its operational experience in Turkey. D-Marin Mandalina Marina Manager Artun Ertem is recognized with "Certified Marina Manager" title. The Marina has been operating under the roof of D-Marin Marinas Group in Sibenik, Croatia since 2009.
Ertem has been the first Turkish marina manager entitled to receive the certificate that is given by Global Marina Institute. The Institute is formed as a partnership between British Marine Federation and Marina Industries Association of Australia to maintain and increase standards in marinas across the world.
Artun Ertem, receiving his CMM certificate at a ceremony held in Hayling Island, England, stated that marina managers from many different countries continue their careers having this title. Ertem said, "Our objective is to make sure that our marina managers both in Turkey and Croatia participate in Intermediate and Advanced Marina Management training programs organized by GMI. Within this framework, I also aim to fulfill the responsibility to incentivize our colleagues to take part in internationally recognized training programs; a requirement of international standards."
