Corporate Risk Management efforts have been approached as a group initiative since 2006. These efforts have been executed by the Doğuş Holding Risk Management Department since November 2006.

Among Doğuş Group’s key institutional responsibilities is the coordination and monitoring of Group risk management applications through Corporate Risk Management, and the identification of investor and shareholder risk preference.

Our Group’s Corporate Risk Management vision is defined as;

Identifying variables and uncertainties that will impact our objectives,
Conducting proactively and managing through the most appropriate steps,
Supervising the implementation of steps in line with  shareholders’ risk preference.

Corporate Risk Management activities are executed within the Group as a whole in the following fields:
  • Determining Risk Management standards and policy,
  • Developing a uniform Risk Management-oriented work culture and capabilities,
  • Conducting risk analysis of existing and potential investments
  • Creating a senior administration vehicle reporting on the risks of new investments of a company, sector or group,
  • Determining risk limitations and action plans,
  • Supporting the implementation of these action plans,
  • Supporting strategic processes with a risk management approach
  • Determining auditing needs by monitoring risks and actions.

Doğuş Holding’s Risk Management Department, established in an effort to implement Risk Management across the Group, operates under the Holding’s CEO and the Risk Management Committee of the Board of Directors. The latter determines shareholder risk preference, ensuring that appropriate risk management applications are in place. Meanwhile, the Holding CEO has the ultimate responsibility for Corporate Risk Management.
