Garanti Leasing

Garanti Leasing provides financial solutions to equipment and real estate investments of its customers, such as land vehicles, heavy machinery and equipment for the agricultural, textile and printing industries. SMEs, which form the basis of the Turkish economy, comprise a significant portion of Garanti Leasing's customer base. As of year-end 2007, Garanti Leasing had over 40,000 customers.

2007 Activities

Total assets of Garanti Leasing reached YTL 2,152 million in 2007. 9,846 new contracts were signed with a total business volume of USD 1.5 billion. This performance gave Garanti Leasing a market share of 19.1 % and made it the leasing company reaching the greatest number of customers in 2007. Garanti Leasing provides services to its customers from 19 points by fully leveraging its distribution.

Garanti Leasing, which has incorporated good corporate governance, transparency, accountability and ethical values as its core principles, continued to be the most credible Turkish leasing company in the global markets. Garanti Leasing borrowed syndication loan of EUR 200 million in 2007. This transaction is the syndication credit with the highest amount and longest term by a Turkish company up to the present.
